What should I do to advance my career in business/finance?

I hold a bachelors in finance, but have huge difficulties to find a job in that industry or any kind of job for that matter. Currently I do not have a job at all due to the economy and would like to know what I could do in order to advance myself? I would like to go into banking if possible.

I am also thinking if I should just go back to school again and do accounting. Or is there something I could do in finance if I don’t find a job at the moment in terms of education?

   I’d walk into the banks you’d like to work at and drop off resumes. One can hold a position at a bank and continue education relatively easily.

   Also, the accounting field is always in demand ~ no matter what the economy is doing

   Starting off as a teller in a bank is a great way to get your foot in the door. Its not glamorous, but you work your way up from there.
